Common Questions & Objections
Answers to common questions about working with Marghella Marketing for web design, local SEO, and marketing consultancy.
Can you improve my existing website, or do I need a total rebuild?
It depends on your current setup. If your site is on a solid platform like WordPress, we can often perform a conversion audit to refine the messaging and structure without starting from scratch. However, if your current site is technically outdated or holding back your SEO, a fresh, high-performance build is usually the more cost-effective long-term solution.
Will I be able to update the website myself once it’s finished?
Absolutely. I build sites that give you control. Once the project is complete, I provide a walkthrough or recording showing you how to update text, swap images, and add blog posts. You will have full ownership and will not need a developer just to change a phone number.
Do you handle the copywriting, or do I need to provide the text?
Most clients find writing about themselves difficult. While I need your expert input on the facts of your business, I take the lead on the conversion copywriting. I structure the headlines and body text so they speak directly to your customers’ pain points and drive them towards an enquiry.
I’m already on page 1 for my name; why do I need Local SEO?
Being found for your name is great, but the real growth happens when you appear for unbranded searches like “Electrician Milton Keynes” or “Family lawyer near me”. Local SEO is about getting you in front of people who do not know you exist yet, but are actively looking for what you offer.
What makes a 'conversion-focused' website different from a standard design?
A standard website is often just a digital brochure – it looks nice but does not really work. A conversion-focused site is built using sales psychology. It is designed with a clear hierarchy of information, strategic calls-to-action, and trust signals placed exactly where a visitor needs to see them to feel comfortable reaching out.
